Russian animation has been represented on the MIPJunior children's content market which took place on the French Cote d'Azur, RIA Novosti reports. It's preceded the international fair of television content launched in Cannes on October 15.

The visitors engaged in the content purchase could see about a hundred projects such as new items and those which the audience digs for a long time.

There were the Russian companies Wizart, Riki, AA Studio, Project First. The Soyuzmultfilm showed new Prostokvashino series in Cannes.

According to Alexandra Modestova, the Head of the ExpoContent company, over the past few years Russian animators have become accustomed to the fact that their products are in demand abroad. She noted that many foreign distributors were actively negotiating with the Russians. Specific contracts may be signed after the fair.

Alexandra Modestova stressed that Russian animation was noticeable on the international market. She is convinced that it has a great future. There are many perspective techniques and plots.
