Contemporary Russian drama week took place in London

Five plays written by Russian, Belorussian, Ukrainian contemporary playwrights in Russian were shown by Chameleon Theater London actors, Rossotrudnichestvo website reports. 

Contest-winning new Russian Drama includes pieces written during last 20 years entered the competition. Some of them have success in Russia, the US, and Europe. Three out of five plays chosen for the Week, were never staged in Great Britaign. 

Plays were presented by Chameleon Theater with English language translation. Although the theater usually stages classical pieces, it's not attracted to the New Russian-language drama.
