Russian specialists will help to restore Palmira

Ural stone specialists will help to restore ancient museum complex in Palmira, destroyed by terrorists, TASS informs. In particular, Stone Center Association from Russia will take care of it. According to Dmitry Medyanzev they've recently visited Syria to meet local Ministry of Culture authorities and representatives of Antiques and Museums Bureau in Syria.  

The decision to immediately start preparation for restoring works was taken during the meeting. Russian companies that a part of Association and also private specialists and  will take care of restoring the ancient museum complex in Palmira. The works to be controlled by Damascus and Moscow that have to be coordinated with UNESCO.

During the works in mining sites of natural stone load-bearing blocks, and also equipment and tools made in Russia. 

Let us remember, Palmira and surrounding territory was in hands of terrorists many times during hostilities. During ten months terrorists destroyed many important historical monuments, in particular the symbol of the city the Triumphal Arch.
