Hainan province of China is the first in the country where the Friendly Russia program is going to be developed, Petersburg Vedomosti newspaper reports. Representative of regional Tourism Committee Zhou Ping Pin and Executive Director of the World Without Borders association Alexander Agamov put their signatures on the document.

In the frames of the agreement Chinese will help to adjust for Russians of the local touristic infrastructure using Russian language. Thanks to the Friendly Russia program Russian people will get every chance to find themselves in friendly environment while traveling to Hainan.

About 300,000 Russian voyagers visited Hainan province last year. Important steps, such as involvement of more Russian-speaking personnel and developing Russian navigation are to be made to increase attractiveness of this place. Russian partners plan to help Chinese colleagues in this field.
