Russian-Germany projects' authors awarded in German Foreign Ministry

About 30 projects implemented as part of the Russian-German Cross Year of Regional and Municipal Partnerships were celebrated in Berlin at the ceremony summing up the Year results, Russkoe pole reports.

The regions of Russia and Germany held several hundred specialized projects within the program of the Partnerships Year. Both Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and his German counterpart Heiko Maas stressed the significance of these projects for the countries.

Discussions on various topics took place within the framework of the final forum: the quality of life, civil society, energy, youth policy, etc. The participants presented their projects to the colleagues to discuss their effectiveness and possible sources of funding. The forum was attended by representatives of regional administrations, heads and employees of economic universities, businessmen of the two countries.

Some projects were announced to be continued after the end of the Cross Year of Regional and Municipal Partnerships.
