Syria opens Russian classes in 17 schools

Seventeen schools in Syria have opened Russian classes with the assistance of the Russian community, Russkaya Vesna reports. According to the director of one of these schools in Homs Lina Sliman, as usual Russian women moved to Syria in different years work as the teachers in Russian classes.

The Russian military officers visited the school in Homs with an excursion. The Ministry of Defense guards delivered about thirty tons of building materials to this Syrian city to restore schools and other facilities. The military plan to make such supplies regular to repair Syria's social infrastructure.

The Homs city administration noted the contribution of the Russian army in the peace restoration in Syria and in the country reconstruction after the war and terrorist attacks. Moreover, students of the school for girls arranged a festive concert for guests from Russia.
