Yuri Bashmet Youth Orchestra played Shostakovich in Shanghai

All-Russian Youth Symphonic Orchestra under the baton of Yuri Bashmet are on the tour in Asia. During this tour they have recently played music of Dmitry Shostakovich and contemporary composer Kuzma Bodrov in Shanghai.  Kuzma Bodrov wrote his piece especially for the orchestra, TASS reports. 

All-Russian Youth Symphonic Orchestra played in Shanghai for the very first time, after success in Singapore. The most talented musicians from all over Russia work in the orchestra, which compresses 90 musicians from 9 to 22 years old.

It's worth mentioning that performances in South Korea and some Russian cities to be conducted in the frames of the Asian tour of Maestro Bashmet's Youth orchestra.
