Vakhtangov Theater goes on celebrates it's 100th season with the world tour

Vakhtangov Theater from Moscow will open it's 100th season with the world tour that will cover North America, Europe and China, TASS reports. One of the highlights of this tour is Masquerade verse play based on combination of works of two famous Russian 19th century writers - Alexander Pushkin and Mikhail Lermontov. 

Vakhtangov Theater will open the new theater season coming October. Actores to perform in Latvian, Estonian and Israeli capitals. In November Eugine Onegin play based on Pushkin's eponymous verse novel to be shown in Milan, Italia. Eugine Onegin also to be performed several times in three Chinese cities in spring 2019. 

Masquerade is the winner of prestigious Golden Mask award.  World-acclaimed Vakhtangov troupe will present the play in New York, Boston, Paris and Istanbul. Tours in European part of Russia and Siberian region planned as well.
