Russia gives Vietnam hi-tech lab that identifies 78 viruses

Russian authorities have donated a mobile laboratory to Vietnam, Nhan Dan newspaper reports. The Vietnamese-Russian Tropical Research and Technology Center received the lab as a gift for its 30th anniversary.

The laboratory locates in a KamAZ truck. Its allows specialists to detect almost 80 different viruses. It meets all modern requirements of biological safety and has a cutting-edge equipment.

The laboratory will conduct a wide range of studies to identify natural hot spots of infections.

The laboratory keys have already been handed over to the center's head. This happened in Vladivostok, where the Eastern Economic Forum is taking place.

A similar car has been effectively used in Guinea for four years. It helps to conduct research in difficult weather conditions in remote areas of the country.
