Russian universities got into international reputation ranking

Lomonosov Moscow State University has got the highest position among other Russian universities in the reputational estimation of Round University Ranking (RUR). The oldest Russian university takes the 45th position, RIA Novosti reports. So, it got into the top-50 of the world's most famous educational brands. The rating takes into account only two features: university reputation in teaching and research.

Saint Petersburg State University follows Moscow State University. It is on the 105th position. Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology is 101st in the ranking. Novosibirsk University got 150th position. Bauman Moscow State Technical University became 187th. Tomsk State University is on 212th position. National Research Nuclear University MEPhI got the eight positions below it.

The ranking also includes Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University, National University of Science and Technology MISiS and Lobachevsky University in Nizhny Novgorod.

Experts stressed that the reputation of some Russian universities increased rapidly. In particular, Lobachevsky University jumped up for 117 position within a year.
