Southern Federal University (SFedU) will open its branch in China, Gorod N newspaper writes. It was on the agenda of the meeting in Rostov-on-Don between the university's head and Chinese investors on September 3.

Interim Rector Inna Shevchenko and the delegation of the Dingxin, Henan Educational and Investment Company, discussed a joint project of an international cooperative university. Guests from China said that the country's authorities and the educational department supported their proposal.

Administration of Henan Chinese province has already provided space for the construction. The Guangda corporation participates as the investor.

The project will help to implement in China the most interesting Russian educational programs. They are aimed to train specialists in the areas with the most intensive cooperation between Moscow and Beijing. The education is planned to be conducted in three languages: Russian, Chinese and English. The experts from SFedU and China universities will be invited as teachers.
