Crimea has always been and will stay forever Russian, according to the Slovakian politician Peter Marchek. He is heading the Slovak delegation which arrived at the peninsula with a work visit, RIA Novosti informs. Marchek has cleared out to the authorities he met that this is his personal opinion of a citizen.

According to the deputy of the National Council of Slovakia, the main purpose of the trip to Crimea is to discuss business development perspectives in Crimea and investments into the peninsula. Marchek is sure that there are great possibilities in this field and promised to stay until signature of at least one agreement.

He has also shared that the delegation has been politically and informationally suppressed before paying a visit to Crimea. The Ukrainian Embassy took pains to do that. Diplomats were warned that they would be banned from entering Ukraine due to the visit to the peninsula. It is something to regret about, Marchek added.

Politician has emphasized that they advocate for annihilation of such conflicts like the one between Russia and Ukraine.

The delegation’s visit is to terminate tomorrow, August 3.
