Leo Tolstoy Family descendants' convention opens in Yasnaya Polyana

Leo Tolstoy family estate to become the meeting point for guests from different countries. Russians, French, Germans, Czechs, Belgians, Dutch, British, Americans, Uruguayans that will meet at Yasnaya Polyana, the writer's house museum. There are lineal descendants or other branches of the big family tree of Tolstoy family. Rich cultural program is prepared for the guests, MySlo.ru website reports.

The forum to be held on July, 18-22. On the first day the guests will have a tour around the Yasnaya Polyana village, and bring flowers to the grave of the great Russian writer. 

Intergenerational seminar is a great example of importance of ancestral traditions' awareness. The guests will learn many new things about the history of their dynasty and creative activity of Leo Tolstoy.  The descendants will participate in master classes, lectures, and festival.
