Russia wins 2nd match of FIFA World Cup 2018

The match between Russian and Egyptian national teams ended up with score 3:1. The game took place in Saint Petersburg, TASS reports. More than 64 000 spectators followed the match at the stadium.

Denis Cheryshev and Artyem Dzyuba scored the competitors gates. Ahmed Fathi scored the first goal into own gates. The Egyptian national team responded with one goal only, when Mohamed Salah hit the gates of Igor Akinfeev on the 73d minute of the match.

Thus, Russia got 6 points following the results of the two meetings taking the lead in its group. The next game will be held on June 25. The Russia team will meet with Uruguay. However, the Russian football players may leave the group tomorrow in advance, provided the Uruguay wins or at least gets a draw with the team of Saudi Arabia. Note that the Russians left this team behind in the first match of the FIFA World Cup with a score of 5:0.
