A summit between American and North Korean leaders leaves a positive impression, according to Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov. In his words, no official documents were published yet, but the fact that the talks were held is joyful by itself, RIA Novosti informs.

The first in history summit between US and North Korea was held on June 12. Donald Trump and Kim Jong-un met in Singapore. The outcome of the talks was signing the bilateral agreement. According to this document, Washington is obliged to guarantee safety to Pyongyang. North Korean leader, in his turn, confirmed adherence to ultimate denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula.

The documents misses requirement of full, irretrievable and guaranteed refusal from nuclear weapons and annihilation of intercontinental ballistic missiles.

Pyongyang and Washington agreed to hold a meeting on the level of countries’ foreign ministries as soon as possible in order to discuss implementation of the agreements reached at the summit.

North Korean Leader called the signed document historical. He is sure that its signature means a new start and promises great changes ahead. Donald Trump said that he was proud of the summit’s outcome.
