Vladimir Putin recorded video message for the football fans who are counting days until the 2018 FIFA World Cup starts. According to the Russian leader,"It is going to be a real celebration full of sport passion and bright emotions” that would leave great impressions not only of the matches but also of the “friendly, sincere people of Russia.”

Vladimir Putin has finalised his greeting message with following words: “We opened our country and our hearts to the world. Welcome to the 2018 FIFA World Cup!” 

Teams from all over the world are coming to Russia. Argentinian football players are training now Moscow Oblast town Bronnitsy. Lionel Andrés Messi, the best forward of the team, has also arrived. Portugal team, compressing the Golden Ball award owner Cristiano Ronaldo, prepares for the competition in another near-Moscow town named Kratovo.

Another famous team from Brasilia arrived on the Monday night to Sochi.  Players from Iceland come to the FIFA World Cup for the very first time. They have just started trainings on the Olymp Stadium in Rostov-On-Don.  

2018 FIFA World Cup starts in only two days and will last until the middle of summer. 11 Russian cities will host the Championships.
