During three days of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum 550 contracts were established for $340 million, TASS reports.

17,000 people from 43 countries participated in the forum, despite that the “sanctions” word sounds continuously in relation to Russia. The volume of contracts traded grow every year, according to organizers. “The number of participants at the Forum marks that Russia is the country of opportunities, Russia unites the world,” said the President's advisor.

Interestingly, the largest, 500 people delegation came to SPIEF from USA. The second largest delegation came from Japan, followed by France.

It's worth mentioning that in 2017 the American delegation was also the largest – 560 people from 140 companies have participated in the event.

As Russian representatives have marked the next year Vietnam to receive the guest invitation to SPIEF.
