Saint Petersburg is hosting again St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. Its tagline this year is Creating Economy of Trust, according to RIA Novosti.  This large-scale event will accommodate around 15000 guests, approximately 1500 Russian and foreign companies from 72 countries.

Among top guests are the French President Emmanuel Macron, Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, Director of the International Monetary Fund Christine Lagarde. The plenary session will include a speech by Russian President Vladimir Putin on May 25.

Ove all the years of its existence St. Petersburg International Economic Forum gained a status of major international ground where the Russian and foreign entrepreneurs might discuss topical issues of the economic development, meet politicians and scientists from our country and from other states.
 
Numerous discussion panels will be opened at the forum, where the participants will discuss the questions mentioned in the May decree by the Russian President.

Russia’s leader will have several meetings. In particular, he is to meet his colleague from France. At the end of the negotiations, they are to sign around 20 various agreements. Besides, Vladimir Putin will take part in the round table together with the heads of the Russian and Western media and meet chiefs of major foreign companies.

Business dialogues with Finland, India, Mexico, Italy, Sweden and other countries will become a part of the forum agenda.

The guests and participants will have an extensive cultural program. They will visit Peterhof Palace and Pavlovsk, look around different exhibitions, attend concerts and artistic performances. A festival of sand sculptures will be held on the beach of Peter and Paul Fortress.
