Station Russia project presented at the the Venice Biennale of Architecture

Russian architects present Station Russia project to the 16th Venice Biennale of Architecture. This year the Russian exhibit is dedicated to the railroads, Izvestia newspaper writes. 

The pavilion is turned into a railroad station, according to the idea of the project's author Alexey Schusev. According to organizers, the installation will tell story of the main cornerstones in the Russian railroads history. In the central Architecture Depot hall of the pavilion major train stations of the country to be shown.  

Except train stations, visitors are invited to know more about Russian cities and nature. 

The President of the Architects' Union  Nikolay Shumakov is invited to come to the pavilion. Works of another Russian architect Nikita Yavein who designed Olympic Park railroad station to be presented as well.Three Station Square in Moscow renovation projects from young Russian architects are also on view.
