Russian diplomats in the US were indignant at the call of American journalist Thomas Rogan to blow up the Crimean Bridge. Rogan even gave instructions on how to explode the bridge to the Ukrainian authorities in his column at the Washington Examiner magazine, RIA Novosti reports.

The Russian Embassy is sure that calls for a terrorist attack and slaughter of people cannot be justified by freedom of speech. Diplomats insist on the magazine clarifying if the article in question meets the editor’s politics. The Russian Embassy added that in accordance with the Russia’s legislation, public calls for terrorist attacks should be subject to the criminal punishment.

The article was sharply criticized by the Russian politicians. A member of the Committee of the Federation Council on Defence and Security Franz Klintsevich has remarked that the police should consider starting legal proceedings against calling for a terrorist attack. Senator expressed doubts that the Ukrainian authorities would use the material as a guideline, however some provocations might be inflicted anyway. Vice-Speaker of the State Duma Irina Yarovaya agrees that the article represents an incitement to commit a terrorist attack.

Politicians are sure that such materials are published in order to sustain tenuous atmosphere and hatred to Russia among their readers.

Note that the Russia’s President launched the automobile traffic along the Crimean Bridge. The traffic in both directions started on May 16 in the early morning. More than 20 000 cars crossed the Crimean Bridge over the first day.
