New Russian classroom opened in China

A new Russian classroom is opened today the city of Sanya, the Hainan Island, IA Khabarovsk Region Today informs.

The guests of the opening ceremony were members of the government, Sanya educational department and school’s management. On behalf of Russia there were Attaché of the Russian Federation General-Council in Guangzhou and members of Khabarovsk administration. The classroom will start working in the coming academic year.

Chinese pupils will study Russian using a special training program. They will have all the necessary materials like students' and work books. The teachers will come from Khabarovsk.

Opening this classroom is the first joint project between Russia and China. However, at the moment opening a Russian school in Harbin is being discussed.
