Victory Songs to be performed in Paris

Victory Songs international marathon starts today in the French capital, TASS reports. Art group Soprano and a Russian men's a cappella ensemble Turetsky Choir to perform war songs in Russian and other languages. 

According to the Founder and Director of both music groups Mikhail Turetsky, this performance is going to be an Action of Peace. It will remind about friendship between countries who were fighting Fascism during the World War 2. 

The President of the France-Urals Association, writer and a public figure Dmitry de Koshko said that he is looking forward to the concert and waits to hear Katiusha, Blue Handkerchief and other favourite songs. 

After the concert in Paris, Russian musicians will perform in Ljubljana, and then in Austria, Germany and Belarus. 

Artists will return to Russia on May, 9, to perform at the Belorussky train terminal in Moscow. 

The tour will proceed in Israel and the US where in particular the Turetsky Choir have a concert in UN General Assembly Hall. 

The Victory Songs action took place in Moscow three years ago for the first time. It aims unity between Russian compatriots all over the world and beyween the allies of WW2 who fought Fascism. 

 One year ago the Victory Songs were performed in Berlin. 20 thousand people have attended the live event, more than 8 mln watched the broadcast.
