Russophobian motives are clearly traced down in the G7 performance, according to Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov who commented on the G7 Foreign Ministers’ summit held the previous day in Toronto, TASS informs.

Sergei Lavrov has mentioned that the countries, which keep saying that they are reluctant to isolate Russia joint anti-Russian politics too.

“Concerning the summit of Foreign Ministers in Toronto, The Russophobian background is pretty evident there,” he said.

Russian Foreign Minister promised that Russia would have enough patience to continue its own position to make its Western partners understand that the chosen path is a dead end.

The summit participants accepted the statement threatening Russia by another round of sanctions. Foreign Ministers of G7 countries and the Head of the European Diplomacy Federica Mogherini chose the Ukrainian crises as a reason for new anti-Russian sanctions claiming that they support the territorial integrity of Ukraine and condemn the situation with human rights in Crimea. Besides, G7 did not change its opinion and still believe that Moscow is guilty in destabilizing the situation in the world. Nevertheless, the summit participants claim that they are ready to collaborate with Russia.

Ministers have also called Russia for sticking to its international obligations.
