Moscow International Education Show kicks off

Moscow International Education Show has started today, on April 18, in the capital of the Russian Federation, TASS informs. It is to become the 5th forum already. The largest educational forum in Russia will work under UNESCO guidance for the second time. Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation organized the show.

Among the exhibition participants are teachers, representatives of the ministries and departments from all regions of the country, Russian and foreign educational and scientific organizations.

More than a thousand of activities are included into the forum agenda, where the central topic is New Ecosystem of Education. According to the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Olga Golodets, who is heading the Organizing Committee of Moscow International Educational Show, the plan is to discuss Russian educational agenda and global educational issues.

She has mentioned that the development of education is the center of show discussions. “To continue development of the Russian education, new technologies, infrastructure solutions, fruitful exchange of ideas and successful experience are needed,” Golodets stated.

Joint forum of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation and of UNESCO institute for Information Technologies in Education is scheduled as a part of the show agenda.

A succession of activities is planned for parents, schoolchildren and students at Moscow International Education Show on Saturday.

Organizers expect more than 60 000 people should attend the forum.
