St. Petersburg was named the most popular touristic destinations in Russia, according to the travel portal Airbnb, RIA Novosti reports.
More than 60,000 Airbnb clients have visited the Northern capital. Moscow follows the list, with circa 40,000 visitors. Kazan is on the third place – according to Airbnb 7,000 people from all around the world have visited the Tatarstan capital. Sochi, Kaliningrad, Vladivostok, Nizhny Novgorod, Ekaterinburg, Novosibirsk and Krasnodar entered top-10.
The hospitality index is headed by Suzdal, one of the Golden Ring's highlights. 91% of surveyed were happy with their trip. Pskov and Kaliningrad took second and the third places, accordingly.
Airbnb portal has also noted that increase of the tourist flow in the beginning of 2018. It has increased by close to 50% in Moscow, while in St. Petersburg – more than by 40%, and in Kazan – almost by 70%.
