500 Russian books presented at The London Book Fair

47th London Book Fair includes more than 500 Russian novelties, Rospechat website reports.

30 Publishers brought to the U.K. capital fiction, non-fiction and kids literature. Books dedicated to art, film and theater history published this year are the specialty atvthis fair. 

The work of the famous illustrator Igor Oleinikov, the Hans Christian Andersen Award 2018 winner is the main feature of the Russian stand.

How Not to Blink at the Russian Bestseller round table to become the first discussion in the frames of The London Book Fair. In particular, the new Andrey Platonov book from the Russian Library series is going to be presented.

Meetings with famous Russian writers, such as Vladimir Sharov, Shamil Idiatullin, literary critic Galina Yuzefovich and others to be part of the Russian stand activity.

Solemn Read Russia Translation Prize ceremony for the English translators of the Russian literature to be a highlight of the fair. There were 5 books choosen out of 30, including Teffi memories, House in Which.. by Meriam Petrosyan, Admire by Ilya Zdanevich.
