Moscow is summoning UN Security Council meeting after participants of the specialized session of the Executive Council of the Organization for Prohibition of the Chemical Weapons refused to support a proposition by Russia, China and Iran to conduct a mutual unbiased investigation of Skripal’s case, TASS reports.

According to London’s representative to the Organization for Prohibition of the Chemical Weapons, this is nothing but an attempt of the possible organizer to deliver a distraction maneuver. European Union’s representative voted also against the proposition.

Russian representative office to the Organization for Prohibition of the Chemical Weapons regrets that the British authorities are reluctant to start interaction. Moscow offered to set up a multilateral expert group as an alternative. Nevertheless, this offer was declined too. Now Russia proposes to conduct a public meeting of the UN Security Council.

At this, the day before the Foreign Office erased the statement from their account in the social networks that the poisonous substance used to kill Skripal and his daughter was produced in Russia.

Note that the British scientists acknowledged that the conducted research failed to find out the exact county of origin of this neuro-paralytic substance.

Experts of the Organization for Prohibition of the Chemical Weapons are to finish the research of the samples from the crime scene. At this, the results of this research will be disclosed to the British authorities only.
