'Born with Wings'

Russian Center in Plovdiv conducts the exhibition dated to the International Day of Aviation and Space that is to be celebrated on April 12, 2018.

Plovdiv – International Aviation Center exhibit includes information on the city air bases, landing strips, and acting in Plovdiv aircraft modelling clubs.

The second exhibition named Born with Wings unveils major space events. The visitors can learn more about such important figures as the first cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin, Alexey Leonov, who went first to the open cosmos, first woman in cosmos Valentina Tereshkova, USSR test pilot Igor Volk who's died in January 2017 during his visit to Plovdiv.

Plovdiv – International Aviation Center exhibit was organised by several Bulgarian institutions such as Bulgarian Astronautics Society in Plovdiv, Space Research and Technology Institute at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, National Movement Russophile, etc.

The exhibitions stay on view until April, 15.
