International St. Petersburg Educational Forum invites teachers from all over the world

St. Petersburg is hosting traditional International St. Petersburg Educational Forum. This Northern city on the Neva River has become again a ground for an open dialogue of experts in the field of education and upbringing of the new generation.

Several significant events and activities were held over the first few days of International St. Petersburg Educational Forum. In particular, students' session the Future in Present was conducted. The topic of the event was an image of future in perception of contemporary Russian and foreign schoolchildren. The senior schoolchildren played a role of experts and project managers in the educational environment of future schools. The senior schoolchildren coming from St. Petersburg, Karelia, Murmansk, Novgorod and Leningrad regions took part in the session. An agreement between Russian and Armenian schools was signed in the Academy of Talents.

3 strategic sessions where experts discussed such topics as the social partnership in education, the evaluation of the quality of education and the educational initiative were discussed in Boris Eifman Ballet Academy, the 2nd Gymnasium of St. Petersburg and Academy of Talents - the main city forum grounds.

Around 400 representatives from 40 regions of the Russian Federation, guests from Bulgaria, Finland, Moldova, Belarus and Czech Republic took part in the dialogue.

Year by year, the agenda of the forum becomes more extensive to comprise wider and more diverse questions. The forum became an international event with participation of prominent representatives of the educational, cultural and political systems talking over global challenges of education and upbringing.
