Early voting in Russian presidential election held in Belarus, US, Mexico, Brazil and Germany

Russians all over the world take an active part in early polling to elect the next Russian President. The first polling station was opened in Northern Ireland this weekend. Around 50 people came to vote in Belfast. Russian compatriot communities assisted in organizing the voting process in other Irish cities.

Supplementary polling stations in London and Edinburgh will be open at Russian Presidential Election’s day – on 18th of March.
Outdoor voting took place in six Belorussian cities the day before. More than a thousand of Russians could cast ballots there. Thirteen polling stations more will work on March 18. A total number of Russians living in Belarus or staying there on a business trip exceeds 100 000.

Russian nationals in US had an early polling this weekend. The election took place in Miami, Atlanta, Chicago, Boston, Los Angeles and in other cities flawlessly.

On March 18, polling stations will be organized in the Russian Embassy in Washington, Consulates General of New York, Seattle and Houston.
Russians in Brazil joint the election too. Around 60 people cast votes in six Brazilian cities. Mobile polling stations will be open in two more cities this week and at the Election day, they will work in the Russian Embassy and in Consulates General as well.

Russians living in Mexico could vote too within these two days including members of delegations of our country visiting the international book fair FILEY-2018. On March 18, the polling station will be opened in Russian Embassy in Mexico.
Early voting continues in Germany as well. The polling stations were opened in ten cities last weekend. Around 10 000 Russian nationals wished to take part in the election.
Observers talk about large interest of Russians in the election. People take their families to vote. Many nationals bring children who are too small to cast ballots, but they can be familiarized with the polling process. There are many young people at the voting stations.
