Russian Foreign Ministry

Kiev is not going to curb aggression of the nationalists, the Foreign Affairs Ministry of the Russian Federation believes. Besides, radicals’ crimes do not meet any appropriate response, on the contrary, they are favored by the Western partners. The Foreign Ministry is sure that it cannot but cause much concern, TASS informs.

Temporary charge d’affairs of Ukraine in the Russian Federation was told about all these circumstances. He was claimed a resolute protest against continuous outrageous actions of the Ukrainian nationalists. Note that this weekend participants of the neo-Nazi groupings broke windows and damaged doors of the Rossotrudnichestvo representative office. The outlaws threw eggs into the building and spilt paint on the walls. These actions were accompanied by aggressive anti-Russian logos shouted out by extremists. Moreover, radicals desecrated the Russian flag.

Russian Foreign Ministry has emphasized that the unleashed young people were committing these crimes at the full inaction of the police. Presence of women and children inside did not stop the vandals. OSCE Special Monitoring Mission witnessed all these events. It recorded these incidents in its reports.

Moscow has underlined that the attack happened immediately after the speech of the Ukrainian President at the Munich conference not by chance. His speech abounded in anti-Russian rhetoric. Besides, he openly called for “fighting against the Russian flag.”

Moscow demands to put an end to extremist actions of the radical nationalists and ensure necessary conditions for routine operations of Russian institutions in Ukraine.
