Russian skiers took bronze in ladies’ relay at Olympics in PyeongChang

Cross-country skiers from Russia Natalia Nepryaeva, Yulia Belorukova, Anastasia Sedova, Anna Nechaevskaya won bronze medals in the ladies’ relay at the Olympic Games in South Korea, TASS reports.

The Norwegian team took gold, while the skiers from Sweden held the silver award.

The skiers passed first two stages in classic skiing style, whereas the next two – by free skiing style. The Russians covered the 20-meter distance in 52 minutes 7,6 seconds. The winners’ result is 51 minute 24,3 seconds.
Russian skiers took medals in kind of discipline as early as 2006 at the Olympics in Turin, Italy.

This bronze medal for skiing became the 9th award in the total team ranking. The collection of our athletes contains two silver and seven bronze medals. The leading position belongs to the team from Germany so far. The Norwegians are on the second place. The Netherlands wrap up the three leaders.
