Dovlatov feature called success at Berlinale

Film Dovlatov by Alexey German Junior became the first film that received ovations at the Berlinale festival, IA Interfax reported.

Critics from various countries highly estimated the film devoted to the famous Russian emigrè writer during the press-screening. Critics have especially marked a beautiful sense of humor of the director.

Dovlatov film immerses the viewer into the realities of Leningrad city in 1971. The literature and theater city life are depicted in bright colors. The feature presents events that took place one year before the writer moved to Tallinn.

It's worth mentioning that other Russian films are going to be screened in the frames of Berlinale film festival as well. Legendary film by Mikhail Kalatozov Cranes are Flying to be showned in restaured version.

Profile movie produced by Timur Bekmambetov was included into the Panorama program - the second important festival in the frames of Berlinale.
