L'Observateur russe photographValery Gergiev received Chromy Award for personalities blessed with an exemplary conscience in Paris, L'Observateur russe reports. The award creators Wolfgang Stein and Anna Chromy personally congratulated the musician.

Organized by the Conscience Institute in Luxemburg, the award is presented since 2009 those public figures who make personal contribution in the peace on Earth.

Valery Gergiev was conducting Munich Philharmonic Orchestra featuring German operatic soprano Anja Harteros. Tchaikovsky, Brahms, Wagner, Strauss were performed to thye public in at the Paris Philarmony few days ago.

Valery Gergiev was awarded numerous times, in particular he owns the Officer of the Legion of Honour, the highest decoration in France.
