Russian instiutions partecipated in Sri Lanka EDEX Expo

RossotrudnichestvoRussian delegation presented higher education institutions at the largest Education Exhibition and Job Fair Edex Expo 2018 in Sri Lanka, Rossotrudnichestvo informs.

Participants found out many useful things about institutes of Moscow, Tver, Kursk and other Russian cities. Specialists from Russian Educational Center and Russian Center of Culture and Science were traditionally giving consultations providing all details on Russian institutions to public.

This year the expo is held for the 32nd time. Delegations from more than twenty countries tell others about study possibilities in their countries.

Prime Minister of Sri Lank Ranil Wickremesinghe and Minister of Education Akila Viraj Kariyawasam were present at the opening ceremony.

17-year-old Dmitry Pinchuk from Moscow won the world's most prestigious saxophone competition held in Dinant, Belgium, the hometown of the saxophone's inventor, Adolphe Sax. The competition showcased the triumph of the Russian saxophone school, with three Russians among the six finalists. All three are not only students at the Moscow Frederic Chopin College but also disciples of the renowned Russian saxophonist Nikita Zimin.
