Russians win two "Circus Oscars"

facebook.comRussian circus artists brought two prizes from The Monte Carlo International Circus Festival, RIA Novosti reports. Silver Clown prize went to the Step and Jazz ensemble under Sergey Prosvirin.

Bronze prize went to horse-riding acrobats headed by Vladimir Vavilov. His troupe has received the special prize from Friends' Associations of Monaco.

This year one of the most prestigious festivals is conducted for the 42th time. Prince Alber the Second and Princess Stephanie are heading the festival. The Princess of Monaco presides the Monte Carlo festival. The Rosgoscirk director Dmitry Ulianov is one of jury members.

As Russkiy Mir reported before, one year ago Russian performers have won four awards, including Golden Clown award.
