Life in Radiation Zone. Chernobyl thirty years later

Russian Center of the Milan State University hosted an exhibition called Life in Radiation Zone. Chernobyl thirty years later from 6th until 21st of December 2017 as a part of the Year of Ecology. The exhibition was organized with purpose to familiarize young people with reasons and aftermath of environmental problems.

On December 14, the chairman of the environmental association Stephano Fronteddu met students of the Milan University interested in trips to recreation camp in the Bryansk Region, Russia. Besides, at that day the Russian center hosted New Year festival. The Italian students have been actively preparing for this celebration for a month.

Verses by Genrikh Sapgir, the Ukrainian song in Russian language with musical background by Nikolay Leontovich, favorite songs of Russians about New Year were presented at the New Year party. Students played game How to Win a Million? Only students studying Russian grammar diligently could win this game. At the end, volunteers took part in the New Year lottery organized by Father Frost and Snegurochka.
