Presidential Administration of RussiaRussia will do everything to secure its safety, according to Vladimir Putin’s statement made in the course of the large press-conference, RIA Novosti informs.

According to him, more than forty six billion US dollars will be budgeted for military needs next year. At the same time, US military budget reaches seven billion US dollars. According to President, Russia does not have an opportunity to spend such huge amounts, as it is also necessary to fulfill all social obligations for the country’s population.

Vladimir Putin has especially underlined that the Russian Federation is not going to involve into the arms racing.

Russian President has pointed out that Washington is going to cancel the contract about medium-range and short-range rockets and it has practically done this. In particular, US have already delivered Idzhis launch systems to Romania at the same time accusing our country of something, he added. The head of state has noted that we cannot stay inactive in the current circumstances.
