Eduard Uspensky’s 80th anniversary celebrated in Beltsk Russian Center

25.12.2017

Eduard Uspensky’s 80th anniversary was celebrated in Beltsk Russian Center on December 22. The writer created characters, neither children nor adults will ever forget, including Cheburashka and Gena the Crocodile, Matroskin the cat, and Pechkin the postman.

On the writer’s birthday students and teachers watched cartoons based on Uspensky’s scripts The Three from Prostokvashino (1980), The Winter in Prostokvashino (1984), The Playdough Crow (1981). Having watched the cartoons, students remembered their childhood, laughed and shared their memories and emotions.

The students read out Uspensky’s poem The Trolleybus and sent the video to the hero of the day as a birthday present.
