Father Frost brings prizes to kids from low-income families and orphans

RF Ministry of CultureMore than 100 tons of New Year gifts were distributed by Father Frost during his tour, RIA Novosti reports.

The list of gifts includes toys, sweets, books, TV sets, tablets, laptops, according to the NTV TV channel Executive producer Timur Vainstein who manages the action. Also kids in need have received expensive medicines, hearing aids, wheelchairs.

More than 1,500 young athletes have received sports equipment. Creative kids were granted with music instruments, art supplies, and many other important things.

Organisers have underlined that the project aims to help those in real need.

Kids from more than 100 orphanages, as well as kids from poor large families have met the winter magician - Father Frost.

Mr. Vainstein has noted that all gifts were prepared according to the needs of each institution.

Let us remember, pre-New Year trip of Father Frost has started in early November, and the first point was Vladivostok. In two months Father Frost has visited 30 Russian cities, covered thousand kilometers.
