Vladimir Putin congratulated children with New Year

pixabay.comChildren taking part in the Kremlin New Year celebrations met Russian President Vladimir Putin, RIA Novosti informs. New Year celebrations were conducted on December 26 in Kremlin. The celebrations continued at Sobornaya Square. Around two hundred people visited the event. The head of state was on his way to the Governmental hearing. Despite the meeting was a surprise for kids, they asked President million questions.

Russian leader asked kids where they come from and told them that he travelled around many regions of the country himself. In his words, his favorite city is Saint Petersburg where he was born and spent his youth. Children wanted to know what is Putin’s point of view on Ukrainian opposition and if he loves hockey. President said that he loves hockey and respects opposition. He has also promised to cross Crimean bridge by car.

The head of state has said that it is not difficult to lead the country where such awesome kids live. He offered to take a farewell picture. At the end of the improvised meeting with young Russian citizens, they applauded together with the President shouting congratulations with Happy New Year.

Then the kids set off to the skating ground traditionally organized by Moscow State Department Store at Red Square.
