Russian Film Week starts in Bangkok

pixabay.comRussian Film Week has kicked off in the capital of Thailand, website of Russian Ministry of Culture reports. The festival is dedicated to 120th anniversary of setting diplomatic relations between Russia and Thailand. Fest-film Company has organized the film festival with support of specialized departments from Russia and Thailand as well as the Russian Embassy.

The gala opening ceremony of the festival and film show will be held in SF World Сinema, Moscow. The local audience and compatriots who came to watch our movies on big screens will be delighted with such Russian film novelties as The Spacewalker directed by Dmitriy Kiselev, The Icebreaker by Nikolay Khomeriki, Friday by Evgeniy Shelyakin and other movies.

Films will be screened in Russian with Thai and English subtitles. The entrance to the cinema theatre is free.

It is worth reminding that several significant activities were conducted in the framework of the above-mentioned festival. In particular, an exhibition displaying correspondence between The Great King Rama the 5th with his son who studied in Saint Petersburg was arranged in Bangkok.
