Putin thanked Trump for the help in preventing terrorist attack

Russian President AdministrationRussian and US presidents had conversation for the second time on this week, Rossiiskaya gazeta informs. This time Vladimir Putin has initiated the call.

Vladimir Putin thanked Donald Trump for the help of US Central Intelligence Agency in preventing series of terrorist attack that were about to happen in St. Petersburg. Earlier US agency provided information to Russian agency about possible terrorist bombing in the Kazan Cathedral in St. Petersburg. Russian FSB has managed to apprehend terrorists.

President of Russia asked US leader to to convey his gratitude to the head of CIA. He assured that if Russian law-enforcement agencies would learn any information linked to possible terrorist accidents in United States they would immediately share it with the American colleagues.

7 followers of the Islamic State group were detained few days ago; they were planning several suicide bomb attacks in the Northern capital of Russia, one of them had to take place in Kazansky Cathedral on December 16.
