Kandinsky Prize Winners Announced

It was held in Udarnik Moscow cinema. ZIP grouping took the main award in nomination Project of the Year for its work titled ZIP House of Culture Stop. The money prize amounted to thirty three thousand US dollars. The creative grouping originated in Krasnodar eight years ago. It consists of Eldar Ganeev, Eugeny Rimkevich, Vasily and Stepan Subbotins.

Alexandra Pirogova from Moscow was acknowledged the best in nomination Project of the Year. Young Artist. She got 7,5 thousand US dollars for her Mono video performance.

The winner of the monographies’ contest is Alexander Borovsky. He received the same amount of money for the collection of articles called Once Zevksis and Parrasiy…..

It is worth reminding that Kandinsky Prize celebrated its 10th anniversary last year. It was founded in 2007 by Shalva Breus. The total prize fund is 50 thousand US dollars. It is handed for achievements in the field of contemporary arts.

As the Russkiy Mir Foundation reported earlier, a year ago Andrey Kuzkin won in nomination Project of the Year.
