FEFU.PHOTO /vkStudents from Far Eastern Federal University showed excellent results at International Youth Forum for young leaders held on December 1 - 5 in Vladivostok. The forum repeated Far Eastern United Nations Model – 2017. It was supported by Russian Ministry of Education and Science and the Far Eastern branch of the Russkiy Mir Foundation.

More than 60 students from Korea, Japan, Indonesia and Pakistan modelled UN sessions and discussed questions of cybercrimes, social isolation of women, regulation of conflict at the Korean Peninsula, etc.

The forum agenda included extensive cultural programme organized by theFEFU.PHOTO /vk Far Eastern banch of the Russkiy Mir Foundation. Delegates attended the museum of the Maritime State University named after Admiral G.I. Nevelskoy, Museum of Contemporary Art ArtEtazh and Primorsky State Art Gallery. They also listened to the series of lectures about UN stable development delivered by advisor on Purposes of Stable Development EVALSDGs Oleg Dunaev.

Conferences on modelling UN activities have been conducted at Far East since 2001. They represent the platform for improvement of leadership and negotiation skills as well as English language.

Italian entrepreneur Marco Maggi's book, "Russian to the Bone," is now accessible for purchase in Italy and is scheduled for release in Russia in the upcoming months. In the book, Marco recounts his personal odyssey, narrating each stage of his life as a foreigner in Russia—starting from the initial fascination to the process of cultural assimilation, venturing into business, fostering authentic friendships, and ultimately, reaching a deep sense of identifying as a Russian at his very core.
