Fontanka NewspaperMore than 200 people have participated in Father Frost and Snegurochka parade last weekend in New York, TASS reports. Russian fairy characters marched in Manhattan, and danced around Christmas trees in their way.

Festive flashmob organisers, Russian-American Youth society members, have explained to the locals what is the difference between Russian Father Frost and Santa Claus. The celebration has concluded at the Rockefeller Center square.
