According to Lomonosov Moscow State University Rector Viktor Sadovnichy, the ranking will be announced at the beginning of next week, TASS informs. The ranking comprises two hundred universities from forty different countries.

Rector of the oldest Russian university has promised that the list of universities is to be in full compliance with objective criteria of selection. He has noted that among criteria are the role of university in society, careers of its graduates, opinion of employers, and, of course, the role of university for the region and its culture. There are also sceintometrical parts of this ranking such as public quotations and visibility, Viktor Sadovnichy added. He has claimed that he guarantees the reliability of this ranking.

It is worth reminding that Russian President commissioned to start work over writing annual national ranking as early as 2014.

As the Russkiy Mir Foundation reported earlier, Russian Union of Rectors presented its project of the ranking in spring 2015. The proposed ranking is based on achievements of university graduates and criteria characterizing scientific publications of employees.
As opposed to three global international rankings, the new national ranking takes forty percent to evaluate educational missions of higher educational institutions.
