Russian art Winter Exhibition opens in New Jersey

Archer on a Rocking Horse, Vasily KafanovWinter Exhibition has opened at MoRA Museum of Russian ART in New Jersey, US. Contemporary Soviet and Russian artists, most of them from the third wave of immigration presented their works at the opening reception that took place on December, 2.
ArtTeamB, Isabella Glaz, Vitaliy Gonikman, Lenny Khimishman, Irene Koval, Tanya Levina, Rina Lyampe works are presented at the exhibition.

Works of 65 year old painter and illustrator Vasily Kafanov have become one the exhibit's highlights. Kafanov's diverse painting and sculpture techniques recognized all over the world and placed in collections of American, European and Russian art-lovers. “Time is like a blank canvas on which each age leaves its own inimitable imprint, colouring it with its own recognizable objects. Our parents and grandparents, and generations that came before them were all defined by the objects of their age. We see them in old photographs dressed in the fashion of the day, sitting next to their record players or driving their quaint motor cars,” described time and art connection the artist.
