Loveless is nominated for Independent Spirit Awards

kinopoisk.ruAndrey Zvyagintsev's film Loveless was nominated for Independent Spirit Awards in the Best Foreign Film category, RIA Novosti reports.

The film to compete with Robin Campillo's 120 Beats per Minute (France), Fantastic Woman by Chilean film director Sebastián Lelio, Zambian-set highlight of Cannes Festival 2017 I am not a Witch by Rungano Nyoni, and Lady Macbeth feature by British director William Oldroyd.

Independent Spirit Awards has been awarded since1984 года. As its title indicates, the competition is focused on independent films. Award ceremony to take place in California in Spring 2018.

Let us remember, Loveless has already received numerous awards, including Cannes jury prize, London International Film Festival, etc. This year Russian Oscar Committee has proposed Zvyagintsev's film to be nominated for Oscars.
