Book Fair in Caracas is dedicated to Russian Revolution

Russia participates in Book Fair FILVEN in Caracas, Venezuela, Rospechyat informs. The main topic of the fair is 100th anniversary of Russian Revolution.

10-issue book series named 100 Years of Russian Revolution by Strata publishing house from St. Peterburg is one of the highlights of the Russian Book Stand.

There are many old books' reprints exhibited, along with 100 year-olds magazines and newspapers, as well.

The president of Venezuela Adan Chaves has visited exhibit. He received the book on his brother Hugo Chaves from Molodaya Gvardia Moscow Publishing house. This book is a part of 'Lives of Outstanding People' series.

Poetry evening of Yuri Tsvetkov was a particular event of the bookfair. The poet recited his lyrics in both Russian and Spanish.

A presentation of famous poem Twelve by Alexander Block written during Revolution times is going to happen soon. The poem is translated in 12 languages.

Italian entrepreneur Marco Maggi's book, "Russian to the Bone," is now accessible for purchase in Italy and is scheduled for release in Russia in the upcoming months.
